Zoe Tessier Artist
Zoe Tessier was born and raised in Park City, Utah. Zoe’s Mother, Amy Tessier, is a professional artist and taught Zoe at a very young age how to paint and draw. Zoe graduated in 2010 from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Painting. She moved to Florence, Italy her junior year of college to study art at the Santa Reparata International School of Art and Design. Here, Zoe was able to study the Masters of fine art and, was able to show and sell her paintings internationally. Zoe has exhibited approximately 260 bodies of work in over 30 venues around the United States. After Zoe graduated from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design she decided to continue her education at the Metropolitan State College of Denver where she received her license in Art Education, K-12. Zoe was hired by the Cherry Creek School district where she taught elementary art education. She moved to Los Angeles, California in 2014 where she worked for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in the education department but was ready to move back home to Denver, Colorado. She now works as an art educator at Rock Canyon High School and continues to paint. Zoe’s work is very colorful and ranges from small to very large-scale paintings on canvas.
